Adjusted Opening Hours for the Avalex Recycling Centre in Wassenaar

Starting Tuesday, October 1st 2024, the opening hours for the Avalex Recycling Centre in Wassenaar will be changed. From that date, the recycling center at Hogeboomseweg 6 will be closed on Tuesdays. The opening hours on Saturdays have been recently extended. Residents of Wassenaar and Voorschoten can bring now their bulky waste on Saturdays from 08:00 to 17:00. Would you like to help prevent waste? Many items can be reused and don't need to be thrown away. Please consider taking them to a thrift store for a second life or a repair cafe for needed repairs. You can find useful addresses on the websites of the Wassenaar and Voorschoten municipalities. Electrical appliances, batteries, and accumulators can often be returned to the store where purchased. You’ll be contributing to a sustainable society.

Bulky Waste Collection
If you are unable to bring your bulky waste to a recycling center, you can also arrange for Avalex to pick it up for a fee under certain conditions.
